Something's wrong with Rat. All morning he's been curled over himself, whimpering pitifully. Vetra doesn't have the extranet. She doesn't have access to pyjak anatomy or eats to treat what sicknesses they might get. So whatever is wrong with him, she can't help.
Not alone, anyway.
She bundles Rat up in a blanket and holds him close. She uses her omni-tool to figure out where a decent vet is. They might not know any better how to treat him, but they at least have a better shot at it than she does.
With a bracing breath, she pushes the door open and swallows.
"I need help," she declares. "I can't figure out what's wrong with him."
She expects the stares, of course, but it still irritates her. Rat needs help.

Daine can't really blame her, though; when she sees who's standing in the lobby, she has to pause and gawp for a moment, too. But she recovers herself quickly. Whoever this is, the creature they're holding is radiating misery. It doesn't feel quite like one of the People, but it's near enough for Daine to feel it in the first place. Hopefully that's enough.
"Hullo," she says, approaching the... two-legger?... and peering at the bundle they're holding. "Who've we got here?"
